Creating Opportunities for Young Performing Artists
Scholastic Talent Showcase
Founded in 2013, Scholastic Talent Showcase locates, nurtures, and develops young performing artists in the greater Capital Region. We help those who lack access to such opportunities or which the traditional school setting cannot physically support.
Our capstone project is our annual spring showcase that introduces to the community young artists in vocal and instrumental music, dance, literary, and other performing arts.
In addition to the showcase, we provide artist development so that our young performers can hone and realize their full potential.
Scholastic Talent Showcase offers a mobile sound studio for recording, music and beat creations for gifted songwriters, voice recordings, transportation to and from studio practices, food, guidance, mentoring in the arts and social field, and stability and security for the scholars.

Scholastic Talent Showcase, Inc. blossomed from Bass's profound insight into the community's need for vibrant performing arts opportunities—programs that could empower and bring forth the vibrant potential of under-served youth.
Today, we extend our arms beyond our springtime crescendo with programs tailored to champion the growth of both the art and the hearts behind it. Scholastic Talent Showcase is more than an event—it's a movement that enlivens, educates, and exalts the artist within each child. Step into our embrace, as we together elevate the stage of life for our stars of tomorrow.
