Music Program
Our music program is designed to nurture young artists and musicians by offering dynamic chorus sessions, songwriting workshops, and hands-on instrument lessons, including flute and trumpet. Students can explore their creativity, refine their musical skills, and experience recording opportunities that offer a glimpse into music production.
The program also supports budding local musicians with artist development, focusing on advanced songwriting, recording, marketing strategies, and performance techniques.
By blending creative exploration with professional guidance, students grow their talents while building confidence and skills for future success in the music industry.
Chess Program
This program offers regular chess instruction designed to cultivate and enhance strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Participants will learn fundamental chess principles, explore various tactical maneuvers, and develop long-term planning skills through engaging lessons and practice games.
The curriculum emphasizes understanding underlying strategic concepts that can be applied to diverse situations both on and off the chessboard, fostering critical analysis and decision-making proficiencies.
Sports Program
This program offers speed and agility training designed to enhance athletic performance. It places a strong emphasis on the development of overall physical fitness through a variety of exercises and activities.
Furthermore, the program actively fosters teamwork, encouraging collaboration and communication among participants to achieve common goals.
Art Program
Weekly creative arts instruction is provided to students, offering opportunities for self-expression through exploration in a variety of artistic mediums.
These sessions aim to foster creativity, develop artistic skills, and encourage students to explore their unique talents and perspectives within a supportive and engaging environment.
Fashion & Design
This program provides comprehensive fashion industry training beyond runway modeling, including styling, professional skills, and design basics.
Students gain practical and theoretical knowledge, culminating in a professionally produced fashion show integrated into our annual gala, offering significant exposure.
Program Structure
Structured flexibly, students can participate full-time or as drop-ins, with activities scheduled daily from 4 to 5 PM, followed by a snack and a second session. Fun Fridays extend until 8 PM with special events like movies. Seasonal offerings include a focused Spring Session and a Summer Program featuring six weeks of core activities and special Friday excursions. Registration is available on our website, with limited spots for summer.
Drop-in Program
Students can attend complete learning sessions for a complete understanding or drop in on individual days based on their interests and schedules, allowing for a tailored learning experience.
After-School Program
Daily activities with different instruction sessions, including a typical schedule of arrival, handwashing, first session 4-5 PM, snack break, second session, and dismissal around 5:00 PM.
Fun Fridays
Join us for engaging evening activities until 8 PM! Our special lineup includes exciting movie nights for film buffs and relaxed “chess and chill” sessions for strategy game enthusiasts.
Seasonal Programs
Our seasonal programs offer engaging opportunities for students to explore their interests and develop new skills. Both sessions emphasize flexibility, allowing students to participate full-time or drop in as desired. Limited spots for the Summer Program are available, with registration through our website.
Mobile Programs
Our outreach services bring engaging programs directly to students and communities. Scholastic Talent on the Road features a mobile stage trailer that travels to schools and other locations, offering performances and activities, especially during the summer. Off-Site Programming delivers chess, art, and music sessions to schools using portable equipment, ensuring accessibility and enrichment beyond traditional settings.
